One of the most useful functions that the Needs Council performs as part of its mission is Information and Referral. Because we seek to fill gaps in unmet needs, it is important for us to constantly identify ways that other organizations are helping to meet the basic needs of individuals in the county.

A major tool we use to do our job is the resource directory. We began compiling this information for our own use and still use it regularly.

This directory has grown very popular with other social service agencies in our community. We periodically print copies of it for distribution, and we have received numerous requests for copies.

One of our goals for 2010 is to put much of the functionality of this directory online on our web site. We are also in the process of a thorough review and update of our Resource Directory. You can print the most current directory by following the instructions below.

To use this directory:

1. Fill out the form to specify the content you want. By default, the settings will be the entire directory, which is rather large.
2. Click on the 'View Onscreen Directory' to see the directory on screen or the 'Printable' button to see a directory that you can print out.
